Consilium was founded in 2006 to offer consultancy in sales and marketing. We exploit our blue-chip background to deliver business solutions based on direct experience of the most challenging markets. Our philosophy is to distil our solutions to the point where they retain their effectiveness while presenting the minimum overhead to our clients. We are based within easy reach of London and the Thames Valley with a satellite office in Birmingham. Simon Breese, Director and Founder

Simon has a strong background in sales and marketing within the IT industry. Working first for Fujitsu and then for Unisys where he worked across Europe and was Sales Operations Director for the UKMEI&A region. Simon is also a business mentor for the Harwell Campus, Oxford, The Goldman Sachs 10,000 and a member of both the Association of Business Mentors and BCS The Chartered Institute for IT.  He advises a number of high-tech and early stage businesses on sales, marketing and business strategy.

Phil Davis, Business Development

Phil has over 30 years experience in IT management, both as an end user, in IT sales and as a consultant. As Key Account Manager for Barclays Bank and a number of other financial institutions, he led innovative Worldwide, European and UK sales. Phil has a successful track record across a number of industries including Financial Services, Public Sector and Manufacturing. He drives businesses to achieve improvements in operational efficiency and sales. Phil is a member of the Institute of Management Information.

David Harris, Marketing & Social Media

David helps organisations develop and apply innovative marketing strategies.  His approach is to identify the best marketing tools - whether online or offline, mass market or social - to extract maximum value from customer relationships and generate new business enquiries.  He has worked with businesses in a range of industries including consumer goods, publishing, education and biotechnology.  He is also a lecturer with The Oxford Princeton Programme - the leading training organisation for the energy industry - delivering marketing performance and social media training to senior oil company executives. Before working as a marketing consultant David held a number of senior marketing and digital business roles in Castrol and BP.
